Transition Salt Spring (TSS), a non-profit organization dedicated to building resilient communities and taking action on climate change, is seeking a skilled and insightful volunteer Online Learning Consultant.

At TSS, we’re committed to developing an online learning platform that engages residents along the Pacific North West Coast in climate action. As an Online Learning Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our debut online course, influencing meaningful change and empowering individuals to make a difference.

What will you do?

As our Online Learning Advisor, you’ll collaborate closely with our education team to optimize our first-course offering on resilient gardening practices. Your experience and perspective will guide the strategic decisions to ensure our course effectively achieves its learning objectives. With your discerning eye, you’ll curate impactful content and resources related to climate-resilient gardening, creating an engaging and relevant learning experience.

You’ll mentor our team, helping them develop content that effectively communicates key concepts, motivates learners, and sparks discussions on climate change impacts and mitigation. Your guidance will be invaluable as we create interactive course materials that captivate our audience, fostering an immersive learning experience. Your critical feedback will contribute to our continuous improvement process, ensuring our course aligns with learner needs and feedback from the TSS team.

Time commitment:
