On March 17th 2021, Transition Salt Spring and Raincoast Conservation Foundation hosted the Green and Blue Carbon Stewardship Workshop. This is the first of the series of videos from that workshop.
Otherwise known as “carbon projects for beginners” this webinar unpacks the complexities of implementing blue/green carbon projects in a simplified way. Drawing from a combined 30+ years of experience developing BC-based climate projects, Dirk Brinkman and Briony Penn highlight the importance of establishing co-managed projects and provide definitions of key terms like leakage and additionality.
